The intent of these articles is to uplift and inspire you, to assist in expanding you to your full potential in every sphere and to reach out to you in communion and community. Many of us are looking for inspiration, direction and validation. Yet there is nothing I can say here that will be true for you unless you have experienced it for yourself. Until you have direct, personal experience, the words remain a story or a message, something outside of yourself to which you can aspire.

I have no message for you, no truth to impart or teaching to give. If what I say resonates with you, it is because you already have experienced it yourself. Then I am giving your truth back to you. It always comes back to your own truth.

If you are reading this, you are likely to be on a quest to be a better person and to be of greatest service to others. Do you become a better person by following great teachings and practices? Or do you become a better person by allowing your inner nature to unfold? Are you perfect as you are? Are you of greatest service when you surrender yourself completely or when you allow yourself to be everything that you can be? Maybe both of these at the same time? All of the above?

If you are reading this, you are likely to be a seeker, someone who has an inner thirst to bring progress to yourself and others. Usually this quest is not an optional extra in our lives, but rather a drive that can at times cause discomfort, disruption and restlessness. Certainly there are times when that drive can appear to be dormant. However we are now living in times when most of us are feeling a strong stirring to be active, to develop and use our gifts. We may not necessarily know clearly what it is we are being called to do, yet we feel the calling. For many it is getting louder and louder and cannot be ignored.

My truth is that there is no need to look outside for the answers. There is no need to read articles and books for direction and inspiration. The drive that we feel resides within us. The calling that we hear is our own voice. The restlessness is a search to be true to ourselves, to end the compromises and avoidances. My understanding is that each one of us is yearning for the deepest truths of our existence, to be fully authentic and to come to a place of union with the source.

Is this possible, to fully inhabit our own truth? My experience is that I know when I am there. For me, that truth used to feel like a compass point and I'd know when I was on it. And now my personal, individual truth is dissolving into bigger truth that is neither mine nor not mine. And the layers of untruth, both personal and impersonal are unraveling. We are left with your truth and with my truth resolving into a picture that is so vast that we cannot see where it begins or where it ends.
