CEREMONY
TO GIVE THANKS TO WATER
This ceremony may be done on your own, or with a group
of people. You will be joining people around the world
as you do this. It can be done indoors or outdoors. If
you are able to be outdoors, we suggest you choose a place
that is beside water, such as the sea, a lake, a river,
a pond or even a swimming pool.
Gather together your special objects that you like to
use in ceremonies, such as candles, incense, crystals.
This time remember to include a vessel filled with pure
water, so that you can bless and thank it.
Light your candles as you begin your ceremony, and invoke
your guides. State what your intention is for this gathering,
for example you could say, "We ask our guides and
loved ones to be present for this ceremony to express our
gratitude towards all the water upon this planet. We offer
our love and healing thoughts to bring balance, harmony,
appreciation and light to the water that flows inside and
outside of our bodies".
Next direct your energy in the form of your eyesight,
your thoughts or your hands at the water in front of you.
Say silently or out loud words of appreciation, gratitude
and thanks to the water, such as, "Thank you for all
the blessings you bring me every day of my life. I give
you my love and deepest gratitude. I ask for healing, cleansing
and balance for every drop of water upon the planet". Spend some time remembering all the interactions you have
had with water today, from when you got up to the present
moment. Open your heart and let your appreciation flow
towards the water. Think of where the water comes from
that you drink and wash in every day and send you love
and gratitude to that source. Think of all the water that
services your area, your land, your city, your state, your
country and your world. Think of all the myriad of forms
that water takes such as rain, snow, seawater, waterfalls,
glaciers, your tears, steam, rivers, wells, sleet, crystals,
ice, humidity, your out-breath and so on. Give thanks and
bless every form of water. Think of any body of water that
is near you that needs to be healed - perhaps a stagnant
pond or a polluted river. Send your love and healing energy
to that body of water, and ask for it to be cleansed and
purified.
As you send your prayers to the water, see it whole, vibrant
and healed. See all the water on the planet as one. Concentrate
your healing thoughts on the water in front of you. As
you complete your ceremony, ask that the water inside your
own body be whole and healed. Drink from the water in the
vessel that you have used for your ceremony. You might
want to keep some of it in a special place until the Full
Moon. You might want to sprinkle some of it in a treasured
spot, such as your garden.
Close your ceremony by giving thanks to your guides and
to the guardians of the water.
We would love to hear from you about your ceremony! We
would love to see any photographs that you might feel inspired
to take. We will forward your feedback to Dr. Emoto. Thank
you for joining with us.
